Connecting my Motorola V3 to my TT710

Hi Everyone, First post from a new guy to this very interseting forum.OK here is my problem...."Connecting up to traffic with my V3 phone"
I can't make connection with my TT710 with my Motorola V3, Is there an idiots version of how to do this? as i'm 54 years old,

and quite new to computers, so be gentle with me please.
