TomTom 910 data

Hi, I have 2 questions about my new 2nd hand tomtom 910. (I do regret not buying one brand new!)

1) The previous owner had installed additional data, new voices etc. I know because the voice was Ozzy when i first got it. I dont know why but I seem to havbe lost these additional voices. I only seem to get the standard range. How do i recover them ? are they still there? how do I find out?

2) Will maps of the U.S.A be installed as standard? I'm off to Amerca next week, dont want to find out whne it's to late .

Did you delete them? If so, then they are gone. You might simply have slecetd another voice, and need to scroll down the list to find the new ones.

USA maps are not installed as standard, and do need to be purchsed from TomTom

Thanks. delete them? Not that i am aware of. Would I have had "do youy want to delete" type of message? I have scrolled through the voice options, Ozzy's not there

Thanks for the info on USA maps. Silly me just thought it would find the signal when I arrive in the USA.

Would you know if I can check to see if USA maps are installed?

Select browse maps on the 2nd page of the menu screen.

Cant remember if you have to select the US map If so manage maps should be on the 2nd page your preferences.
