Smile Maps Lost? Tom Tom Nav 5 + Hp Ipaq 6340

Hi - would like some advice please. I have owned a TomTom 5 + HP IPAQ 6340 PDA since mid September and it has worked well. Yesterday I switched it on as normal and got the error message "No maps found" - could they have somehow got wiped off my card and how can I retrieve them please? Many thanks Pete58

Remove and replace your Card a few times in case there are dirty contacts.

If you have a Card Reader, insert your card and check with your desktop.

If you have accidently deleted the files you will have to re-install with your original CD's.

This happens quite often to me. Sometimes it takes several removes & inserts before TT sees the maps.

Obv a bug, but with TT6 out there and the Go's on 5.42 you think TT has forgotten who got them where they are - the PDA users!

Speaking of which, WHERE'S OUR UPGRADE PROGRAM (from 5-6) TOMTOM?????????

From what I've been reading about TTN6 on the PGPSW Forum, I don't think I'll bother.
