convert text to .OVL using php ?

I want to be able to convert a .csv file containing name, lat, long into a format suitable for POIs on TomTom devices, could anyone point me in the right direction about firstly whether this is possible, or secondly another way of doing it from a Linux server i.e. using another app that will run on Linux and called from within php ?

If you go here http://www.poidownload.co.uk/poi/index.php you will see the site is for downloading POI's. The files are in .csv format and have to be converted to .ov2 format for TT's.

If you look at the bottom 'How to Use', you will see it says 'download a tool here'.

This should solve your problem.
