Hi,
Being a complete novice with the above item, I have been informed that there is a download that will prevent Large vehicles from being routed down narrow unsuitable roads, is this correct? or have I been misinformed. I have searched Tom Toms website and can't find any such update.

The main problem is that software tends to route down country lanes because many are the national speed limit and therefore 'faster' than say travelling on a 40mph dual-carriageway. Some softeware e.g. iGO, has a lorry setting which tends to steer away from narrow roads.

If you have a look on the http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums and have a look through the HGV/Motorhome lounge, you should be able to find an answer.

I wanted to thank you for the link too. A friend of mine was asking about the same concern about large truck routes.
