TomTom 3 very slow in Plan route (To) or (From)

I find it takes ages to put in an address or postcode. As it tries to process what you are typing and second guessing the whole address.

I have an 3850. Maps and App are installed on a CF card part of the emtac GPS jacket.


Would it be quicker if I install the tomtom application directly onto 3850 (rather than storage card)?

Yes, it should be much quicker when installed to the internal IPAQ memory. You can leave the maps on the CF card though.
