Angry Red Cross on SD Card image on screen

I tried to hook my TomTom One up to my Apple Mac today and it didn't work.

When I then got in my car to go somewhere, I switched the Tomtom on and on the screen a image of the Tomtom appeared with a moving picture of the SD Card coming out with Red Cross appearing on the card.

When I remove the card the diagram then instructs me to put the card back in. When I do this the red cross appears again.

I have tried resetting it but it doesn't do anything.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be wrong with it.

Many thanks

Yes, sounds like the memory has been wiped of the apps needed to run.

Contact TomTom support, or return to the retailer.
