Connection to iPAQ 2210 cradle

Hi all,
some may have seen my post on the main board (wrong place, i know, sorry bout that!). Just wondering if anyone can help me with my connection probs..?

I've still not got it working, but if some who has a working Wired TT3 with iPAQ could let me know what the following should be like, it'd be a great help..

1) Should the light on the GPS "box" be flashing green? It's briefly solid when powered up, then flashes

2) Should the row of dots on the GPS status screen be blinking regardless of whether your GPS can find a sat? I.e. if they're NOT blinking does it mean the iPAQ cannot even find the GPS itself?

3) I did have a passcode setup on my iPAQ so when it docks you had to enter a PIN, i disabled this, the theory being that maybe it was asking the car kit for a PIN?

Have also done a hard reset now...
