Help with my new TT3 Please

Hi All,
Well I've taken delivery of my Tom Tom 3 (Bluetooth). Connected it to my palm with no problems whatsoever, but judt had a couple of questions.

1) How long do I need to charge the Tom Tom for?

2) What are the lights on the front telling me? (ie does RED mean don't use it yet)

Anything else you think I could do with knowing please let me know, cos the instructions are minimal and to make it worse they're all in French
