Tom tom one wont switch on unless....

This is a discussion on Tom tom one wont switch on unless.... within the TomTom forums, part of the GPS Hardware category; I remove memory card and reinsert it - then all is well untill i switch it off and try and turn ...

Default Tom tom one wont switch on unless....

I remove memory card and reinsert it - then all is well untill i switch it off and try and turn it back on

Can anyone tell me how to fix this and why it is happening?

Reset fixes it temporarily, but when i connect to home or make any changes to my memory card (via explorer) it goes back to the above problem!!!

back ground info...

I have just recently installed new aplication 7 for the tom tom and also installed tom tom 2 on my computer, prior to this problem starting

Theres been some issues with the update.

Try tomtom on 08451610009 to see if there is anything else you can do.

Thanks for the response Martin, can you elaborate as to the problems with this update - and if they are to be fixed in future?

PS - All due respect but if you are going to advise everyone to ring Tom Tom as to any query, this site then becomes redundant!

People come here for help, not to be told to ring a premium number to add to their woes...

0845 numbers are local rate.

Tomtom have more information on the patch than I ever will.

If I know the answer I'll post it. If I dont then I can point the person in the right direction.
