XDA2 + TT3 with Carcomm GPS Receiver

Hi all,

I am new to the GPS game and wondered if anyone could help with the following query.

I have an XDA2 and would like to buy the TT3 software, along with the Carcomm Powered CarKit for holding and charging the XDA2 while driving.

Would anyone know if the TT3 software works with the "Carcomm Euro-Navigator GPS Receiver" or do I need to buy the TomTom branded GPS receiver to get a satellite fix. I am not so interested in getting bluetooth receivers as they need to be powered anyway.

Lastly, as it is called a Euro-Navigator, would this mean that it would not get a GPS signal if used in the USA?
