Tomtom 3 for use in the USA question

I have just purchased a HP 2210 with Tomtom 3 from Totalpa.com and I am going to the USA soon and I want to buy the software for use over in the USA. My question is, can I have both the USA and the UK map programs installed on my HP2210, by the way if it matters I have bought the extra 256Mb of flash memory. Thanks for your help.

I have both Uk and Major Routes of Europe on my SD card and I just use the 'swap map' function on TT3 file menu (whilst on map screen) to change them over. Seems to work fine as long as both lots of maps actually fit on your storage card.

One issue with TT3 maps is being not able to plan a route across two maps (i.e. from UK to southern Ireland). You have to do two routes either side of swapping maps. Im not sure as to the file structure of the US maps but if they are seperate by state and you want to do some state hopping you could have the same problem.
