Question TT3 & Holux GR230 connection problem.

Can anyone please help/advise me. I have just installed Tomtom3 on my Toshiba E-340 and bought a Holux Gr230 bluetooth receiver. The GPS Viewer programme that came with the receiver finds sattelites galore but the GPS status on tomtom3 shows none. It only gives me the option of Holux 200 or Holux210 receivers, how do I get it to connect with my receiver ?
Any help appreciated.
Regards,
Martin

Change the settings to

Tom Tom Wireless GPS
And try Bluetooth serial port com 8 i think for your PDA. Make sure both can connect in Bluetooth Manager.

Have a look at http://www.totalpda.co.uk/forum/faq....l&titlesonly=0

Help, I have a similar problem with a Ipaq 2200 and TT5 with a Holux GPSLIM236. I've reset and loaded the software (Tom Tom) several times with and without the GPS software that came with the Holux. When configuring the TT5 S/W it gives options for Bluetooth serial ports 5 & 8. Chose 8 and TT comes back with 'no GPS device'. The devices seem to pair as the incoming data is registering on the incoming & outgoing pages on the PDA. Any other solutions, it's soon bound for the 'bin'.

You might want to try and connect the the GPS in Bluetooth Manager before you launch tomtom, also make sure your iPAQ and TomTom are up to date.
