TT3 SD card problem

I have an Ipaq 3970 and TT3. I have got a 256mb SD card on which i have put the GreatBritain Map. For some reason TT3 is not recognising it is there. It definietly is because I have checked through file explorer. I have tried several times and re-installed the 108mb map. Please help

Hmm i would try and install a small, 16mb map onto the PDA and try and run Tom Tom without the memory card installed.

I have a Ipaq and a Nec and both have some SD card problems reading the data however a reset of the PDA usually cures it.... Never had the problem before TT3 ... ?
Due to probs with the SD on the Ipaq I transfered the map to a CF card and its slightly improved the situation....
