Jornada Compact Wifi Card

Hi
Recently purchased a SMC2642W Type 1 CF card for 928 and managed to install drivers ok but cannot get the lan configuration tool to work. When I install the card it is recognised and asks me to give it a name for the driver. When that is entered as smc2642w the card lights up and when i try to use the configuration tool i am told no card is installed. Try reinstall/install etc anybody any ideas.

If the card is incompatible can any suggest one that does work.
