Default IPAQ 4150 and O2 GSM WAP

I have just been given an IPAQ 4150 as a bday present and was wondering if it is possible to connect it to the net using gsm wap? I'm on 02 and have a K700i and often use wap through my phone. I have managed to pair the devices and the IPAQ dials the number for the internet but then asks for a username and password. As far as i am aware i have never had a username or password for wap and when i check the settings on my phone the username and password sections are blank! If i leave it blank it tells me it is unable to connect as username or password are wrong! Where am i going wrong? Is it simply not possible to connect to the net on the IPAQ via wap?! I've tried searching this forum but had no joy so any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
