Question Mitac Mio 338

Hi everyone

Just a quick query. I own a Mitac Mio 338, which was the cheapest PDA available about 12 months ago when I bought it. Since purchasing it, I've learned a lot more about Pocket PCs and am thinking I might have to upgrade if I can't get a definite answer from someone...

Basically, I would like to add Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi to this PDA, but I have had conflicting information from several parties regarding the compatability with such add-on devices. The PDA has an SD slot, but no-one (including the Manufacturer!) seems to be able to tell me if this supports SDIO or not... Obviously, if it doesn't then I know I will have to upgrade, but if it does, I'd like to try the SD Wi-Fi card route.

Can anyone help me?!?!

Many thanks

Welcome to our forums.
I had one almost a year ago and from what I remember and from what I've read it doesn't support SDIO devices.

Ok, thanks. I think I may just stick with not having Wi-Fi capabilities for the time being. When funds allow, I shall treat myself to a new PDA.

Another quick question (Sorry guys!): I've been using my PDA to access the internet via an irda link between my Mitac Mio 338 and my Nokia 6230i....but I've never been able to set up to use GPRS, instead I've always had to make do with (painfully) slow GSM dial up. I've spoken to my Service Provider (T-Mobile) who have assured me that GPRS is fully set up on my account (I can currently use GPRS to access WAP on my mobile anyway) but have tried failed to get it to work with the PDA.

Any suggestions??

Many thanks
