Pocket Loox & 6210i

Hi All,
I have a Fujitsu Siemens Pocket loox and a Nokia 6310i. For Eons I have been trying to download my mail via the infared modem on the phone and the loox.

The loox dials the server ok via the phone but then just drops connection for no apparent reason with no error message. Just wondered if anyone had any pearls of wisdom.

I'm pretty sure that any Pocket PC or Windows Mobile based PDA cannot connect to the internet via IR, sorry cant be of any help!
