Default two 6310i's and a HP2210 - no bluetooth

Hi - can anybody help.

I have a Nokia 6310i and a HP2210 and the two will not recognise eachother via Bluetooth. They did before Xmas but now they don't. I have done a hard reset of the PDA in the intervening period.

I've set them up so they can see all other devices but the problem persists.

To eliminate whether it is the phone or the pda I borrowed a friend's 6310i but to make matters worse none of the items will see eachother.

Any help greatly appreciated as my sanity is suffering.

Cheers

Andy

There's a firmware issue with some 6310i's which means the pairing request disappears almost instantaneously.

Never seen it but have read about it - you could try getting your phones firmware upgraded at the shop you got it from. Or deleting the pairing from mobile AND 2210, rebooting both and trying again with an eagle eye on both screens.

When my 2210 and 6310i stop talking to each other I switch the phone off, reboot the 2210, then the phone, and all is well. For a few minutes at least.

Apparently Ericsson phones have better bluetooth firmware than Nokia but as the protocol develops I guess this'll even out.
