Default Activsync over Bluetooth on Asus A730

Hi all,

I am going out of my mind with Bluetooth and Activsync. I have created a Guest partnership between my PC and the PDA using the Cable. Great I can now Sync with the PC when the PDA is in the cradle.

I have plugged my BT Dongle in and let windows detect it and install it. So far no prblems. I have allowed my PC to search and found my Asus MyPal A730 and installed the following com ports for it:

COM6 Outgoing MyPal Generic Serial
COM7 Incoming MyPal

I have launched Activsync and told it to use COM5 as the comms port. Then on the PDA gone to Bluetooth Manager and gone through the process of setting up the BT Activsync partnership. After I search on my PDA for my PC and select it, the PDA then puts up a screen saying "Service Discovery" followed by an error:

The requested service is not running on this device. Please make sure the service is enabled on the device or select another one to continue.

Does anyone know wht this means, and how I can get my bloody PC and PDA to sync over BT.

Thanks in Advance
Abernus

Well I have sorted out my own problem. I just re-installed the drivers for the Nth time and it seems to be working now. I have no idea why. But if it aint broke don't fix or fiddle with it!
