sounds good.
now gravitating back to the 2210 from the 4150 with only a few more questions
1) on of the CF WLAN you stock says not compat with pocket windows 2003 (which is on the 2110) is this a problem?
2) would i be missing anything re performance/software/ screen if i got a 2210 rather than a 4150?

Its just they have not updated there drivers to work with PPC 2003 as of yet. The screens are about the same size but the physical dimenstions of the 4150 and the 2210 are majorly different, the 4150 is very very slim line.

Does anyone know if the Buffalo WL12-CF-S11 work with the iPaq 2210? I have seen it advertised quite cheap.

Regards

I mistakenly bought a Buffalo WL12 wifi CF card for my 2210 and it didn't work. On checking more closely, Buffalo do say that it works with PPC 2002, but *not* Windows mobile 2003. Unless Buffalo release a new driver specifically for PPC2003, I'd say look for a different card. I'm told the Ambicom CF card works with PPC2003, although I can't verify this from personal experience. I remember seeing that Peripheralcorner had one recently for about £50.

Ive got a Zonet ZCF 1100 in use with my 2210. It is based on the Mercury 2511 chipset Im told.

I made the near fatal mistake of buying it off Ebay for £20 and it took me an absolute age to find drivers which would work with PPC 2003. However, after numerous trawls through forums I managed to get working drivers and all is great now.

My advice would be to check carefully what chipset a potential CF card uses and investigate the availability of drivers first. Clearly if you are willing to shell out a considerable amount of cash, you should expect the card and full software pack. However these are few and far between, and generally £50 upwards to £100. Bargains on ebay, but do your homework first!
