Sandisk 128MB CF card

A very Happy New Year to all forum members!

Having said that, how many have found a SanDisk WiFi card under their tree?
I did and wish I had not! The programme seemed to install OK on my iPaq2210 but nothing happens when attempts are made to activate the programme. (i.e. the control panel for the programme will not come up)

Also, if trying to uninstall, this is impossible because of a message "\Windows\PRISMIOC.dll and \Windows\Wlu.cpl cannot be removed because they are either read-only or in use".

I can only think that I will have to do a hard reset and start from scratch but Horrors!

Well, it just goes to show what a little digging can do! I found a driver on the SanDisk website for WM 2003 (seems the driver on the mini-cd supplied with the card only worked on WM 2002).

Just renamed the files which could not be deleted and installed the new driver -- Hey Presto!!
