Default 4150 and Wifi- Cant get it to work:(

Hi,

Been trying to connect my Ipaq 4150 to my netgear dg834g wireless router.

Upgraded firmware on ipaq (1.10), and wlan driver.(latest one)
Updated router firmware ages ago also

Now..following these instructions...
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsuppor...ectID=c00046980

By HP, it looks easy.

Ive tryed many times, something must be wrong.

I can change my ssid...and my ipaq flags it up, and lets me enter work or internet, and the wep key (always enter work for everything). Then when i have done that, it seems to be it, nothing more, cant connect to internet or anything. The wireless icon also dissapears.

Ive tryed without wep etc(most of the time), all sorts, cant figure it out.

Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks

(I keep reading problems, on this forum and others, but no concrete solution?)
Appreciate the help, Mike.

On your 4150 turn on wireless and leave it a minute or so.

Exit the page on your PC and go back in. If the IPAQ is listed under Available stations then select it and click ADD. you will then have to click Apply and save settings. (I found my Netgear would not allow me to connect until I turned it off and back on after I had done this)

If your device is not listed or Access control is off then I would clear and reset the DG834 and set it up again.
