streaming video via wifi?

I hope someone can help.

I am about to upgrade from my old Tungsten T and am still undecided whether to go for Palm of Pocket PC.

My question relates to live streaming video and which platform is best.

I have wireless broadband at home and want to use my new device to access via wifi.

One site that I use quite a lot is bbc sport as often live video is available.

Is it possible to access the video online via wifi using my home broadband and if so what platform is best / easiest?

Any help would be really appreciated.
