Internet on a PDA

Is there any way of surfing the web direct from your PDA without using a PC or mobile phone? I've heard you can get bluetooth modems, is it possible to plug one of these into a phone line and gain net access?

Depending on your setup you can get a WiFi card that fits into the memory slot on your pda that allows you to connect to wireless networks, like the BT Open zone or T-mobile systems, and so on to the internet.
