stornowaycove is on a distinguished road

HP ipaq 1710z + SD wifi card

I have a HP 1710z PDA with sd wifi card which worked ok when I first installed it, the last time I inserted the card I got the message "Unknown Card" back. anyone out there have an idea as to what the problem might be, and how it might be resolved. thanks in anticipation.....stumped
