internet radio on a pda

hello

would it be possible to listen to radio station via the internet on a pda. do they come with real player or can you download a real player?

I don't know about Palm PDAs etc but HP iPaqs come with a pocket version of windows, either PPC2003 or Mobile which have a version of media player. It is pos to connect to the internet from the media player so if the site offers streaming audio then you will be able to listen to it. There is a PDA version of Real Player which can be found here

Just bear in mind that if you're paying for Wi-Fi access, it'll soon eat up your data transfer allowence!

Hi, I've been researching this for while and I'm not sure you can stream audio and video via Win Mobile or Real player on Palm. The BBC don't support it yet. The best I've found is downloading mp3 files to relisten!

I never tried, but it makes sense that it would eat up your allowance realy fast.

I've tried the internet radio streaming with the nokia n95, and it works fine.

Try BBC Radio Mobile

It has a whole list of all bbc radio channels, including bbc sports, and bbc news. All the bbc radio channels can be easily streamed over any internet connection, through pc or mobile/pda.

It is posible although if you are paying for wifi it would be easier to to download asa a podcast.
